1267 COMMITTEE APPROVES DELETION OF THREE
INDIVIDUALS AND THREE ENTITIES FROM ITS LIST

NEW YORK, 27 August (UN Headquarters) -- On 26 August 2002, the 1267 Committee approved the deletion of the three individuals and the three entities cited below from its consolidated list (the Al-Qaida section)*. The Committee’s decision is based on the information provided by two Member States.

Individuals

Abdi Abdulaziz Ali;
 Abdirisak Aden; and
 Garad Jama.

Entities:

Aaran Money Wire Service Inc.;
 Global Service International; and
 Barakat Enterprise (entity # 42, section B).

Member States will be informed of the Committee’s decision accordingly. The Committee will continue to regularly update the list on the basis of relevant information provided by Member States and regional organizations.
