CHAIRMAN OF MILITARY STAFF COMMITTEE IN SEPTEMBER
NEW YORK, 29 August September (UN Headquarters) -- In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for September:
Security Council
Emyr Jones Parry, Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom, succeeds Mikhail Wehbe, Permanent Representative of Syria, as President of the Security Council.
Military Staff Committee
Lieutenant General Walter L. Sharp (United States) succeeds Rear Admiral Anthony Dymock (United Kingdom) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
