In Brief Meeting, General Assembly President Announces 6 May Action for Draft Text on Millennium Summit Follow-up
NEW YORK, 29 April (UN Headquarters) -- In a brief meeting this afternoon, General Assembly President Julian Robert Hunte (Saint Lucia) announced that action on a revised draft resolution on follow-up to the outcome of the Millennium Summit and the integrated and coordinated implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits in the economic fields, contained in document A/58/L.8/Rev.1, would be taken on 6 May.
The next meeting of the Assembly will be announced.
