President of United Nations Security Council and Chairman of Military Staff Committee In April

NEW YORK, 31 March (UN Headquarters) -- In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for April:

Security Council

Gunter Pleuger, Permanent Representative of Germany, succeeds Jean-Marc de La Sablière, Permanent Representative of France, as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Major General Pascal Vinchon (France) succeeds Major General Chen Feng (China) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
