Al-Qaida, Taliban Sanctions Committee Provides States with Opportunity to Meet with Committee
NEW YORK, 4 October (UN Headquarters)
1. By paragraph 11 of resolution 1526 (2004), the Security Council requested the Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee to provide States with an opportunity, at the Committee’s request, to send representatives to meet with the Committee for more in-depth discussion of relevant issues.
2. Those delegations wishing to benefit from this opportunity are invited to submit a short outline of the relevant issue(s) they wish to discuss to the Chairman’s office (Ms. Carla Serazzi: email Cserazzi@chileun.org; fax: (212) 832-8714) and the Committee Secretariat (Ms. Tatiana Cosio: email Cosio@un.org; fax: (212) 963-1300).
