President of United Nations Security Council and Chairman of Military Staff Committee in November
NEW YORK, 29 October (UN Headquarters) -- In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for November:
Security Council
John C. Danforth, Permanent Representative of the United States, succeeds Emyr Jones Parry, Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom, as President of the Security Council
Military Staff Committee
Rear Admiral Anthony K. Dymock of the United Kingdom succeeds Lieutenant General Nikolay M. Uvarov as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
