New Permanent Observer of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Presents Credentials
VIENNA, 9 February (UN Information Service) -- The new Permanent Observer of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Andrea Reisinger, presented her credentials today to Franz Baumann, Officer-in-Charge of UNOV.
Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Reisinger worked as Assistant to the Managing Board of the Austrian Red Cross in Vienna, and served at the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations in New York.
Ms. Reisinger holds a M.A. in Political Science and History at the University of Innsbruck. She attended post-graduate courses in International Relations at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA, and studied Political Science and US History at the Institut d?Etudes Politiques, Lyon.
Ms. Reisinger speaks German, English and French.
