President of United Nations Security Council and Chairman of Military Staff Committee in July

NEW YORK, 30 June (UN Headquarters) -- In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for July:

Security Council

Adamantios Th. Vassilakis, Permanent Representative of Greece, succeeds Jean-Marc de La Sablière, Permanent Representative of France, as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Major General Pascal Vinchon (France) succeeds Senior Colonel LiuPei (China) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
