President of United Nations Security Council and Chairman of Military Staff Committee in March
NEW YORK, 28 February (UN Headquarters) -- In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for March:
Security Council
Cesar Mayoral, Permanent Representative of Argentina, succeeds John R. Bolton, Permanent Representative of the United States, as President of the Security Council.
Military Staff Committee
Lieutenant General Victor E. Renuart Jr. (United States) succeeds Major General Peter Gilchrist (United Kingdom) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
