Security Council Committee 1636 Adopts Guidelines for Conduct of Its Work
NEW YORK, 10 March (UN Headquarters) -- The Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1636 (2005) adopted, on 8 March 2006, guidelines for the conduct of its work, to facilitate the implementation of the measures imposed by paragraph 3 (a) of the resolution.
The guidelines will be transmitted to all Member States and the United Nations International Independent Commission (UNIIIC) for reference and guidance, and will be posted on the Committee's website: http://www.un.org/Docs/sc/committees/1636/CommitteeGuidelines.pdf .
