Security Council Committee 1533 Updates List of Individuals, Entities Subject to Measures Imposed by Resolution 1596 (2005)
NEW YORK, 8 June (UN Headquarters) -- On 6 June 2006, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 (2004) concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo, updated the list of individuals and entities subject to the measures imposed by paragraphs 13 and 15 of resolution 1596 (2005).
The list has been modified as follows:
For Dr. Ignace MURWANASHYAKA, reference to international travel documents (No. A 0089711, of 27 Nov. 2001, valid until 26 Nov 2007; No. A 0131463, of 12 June 2003 and valid until 26 Nov. 2007), issued by the German authorities in Mannheim, was eliminated in the field "Passport/Identifying Information".
The list was updated following a communication from the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations informing the Committee that, as of 10 May 2006, Dr. Murwanashyaka has returned both international travel documents to the local authorities in the city of Mannheim.
