President of United Nations Security Council and Chairman of Military Staff Committee in July

NEW YORK, 5 July (UN Headquarters) -- In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for July:

Security Council

Jean-Marc de La Sablière, Permanent Representative of France, succeeds Ellen Margrethe Løj, Permanent Representative of Denmark, as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Lieutenant Colonel Nicholas Slinger (United Kingdom) succeeds Lieutenant General Nikolay M. Uvarov (Russian Federation) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
