New Permanent Representative of The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Presents Credentials
VIENNA, 10 March (UN Information Service) -- The new Permanent Representative of The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to the United Nations (Vienna), Arsim Zekoli, presented his credentials today to Antonio Maria Costa, Director-General, United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV).
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Zekoli was serving at the United Nations Mission in Kosovo Head Office in Skopje, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (since 2000).
Mr. Zekoli has served in many capacities in the course of his career, including as: Media Analyst, Delegation of the European Commission, Skopje (1998-99); Program Manager, National Democratic Institute Office, Skopje (1998-99); at the United Nations Preventive Deployment Force (UNPREDEP), (1994-98); and Chief Editor, Radio Toska, Skopje (1993-94).
Mr. Zekoli holds a university degree from the Faculty of History of Arts and Archaeology at the St. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje. He is pursuing postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, St. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje.
