New Permanent Representative of Spain Presents Credentials
VIENNA, 15 September (UN Information Service) -- The new Permanent Representative of Spain to the United Nations (Vienna), José Luis Roselló Serra, presented his credentials today to Antonio Maria Costa, Director-General, United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV).
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Roselló Serra was serving as Consul General of Spain in Casablanca, Morocco (since 2003).
Mr. Roselló Serra has served in many capacities in the course of his career, including as: Ambassador-at-Large for Maritime Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain (2002-03), Ambassador-at-Large for Environmental Issues, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2001-02), Ambassador of Spain to Kuwait (1996-2001), and Ambassador of Spain to Angola and Ambassador of Spain to Sao Tome and Principe (1992-96).
Mr. Roselló Serra studied at the University of Madrid, Spain, and obtained a degree in Law and a diploma in International Studies at the Diplomatic School in Madrid.
