New Permanent Representative of Luxembourg Presents Credentials
VIENNA, 6 September (UN Information Service) -- The new Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the United Nations (Vienna), Arlette Conzemius, presented her credentials today to Antonio Maria Costa, Director-General, United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV).
Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Conzemius was serving as Director for International Economic and European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg (since 2005).
Ms. Conzemius has served in many capacities in the course of her career, including as: Ambassador of Luxembourg to the United States (1998 - 2005), Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg (1993 - 1997) and Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Luxembourg to the United States (1989 - 1993).
Ms. Conzemius holds a degree in Political Science from Graduate Institute of International Studies, Switzerland, and a Master's degree from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, United States of America. She is married and has two children.
