New Permanent Representative of San Marino Presents Credentials
VIENNA, 2 September (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of San Marino to the United Nations (Vienna), H.E. Mrs. Elena Molaroni, presented her credentials today to Mr. Antonio Maria Costa, Director-General, United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV).
Prior to her current appointment, Mrs. Molaroni served as Deputy Permanent Representative of San Marino to the United Nations, New York, a post which she assumed in 1997.
Mrs. Molaroni has served in many capacities in the course of her career, among them: Chargé d'Affaires, Permanent Representation of San Marino to the United Nations, New York (1996), Counsellor, Permanent Representation of San Marino to the United Nations, New York (1995-97), Administrative Advisor, Permanent Representation of San Marino to the United Nations, New York (1994-95), Translator and Interpreter, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finances and High Command of the San Marino Militia (1993) and Free-lance Interpreter, Council of Europe and European Parliament, Strasbourg, France (1991-92).
Mrs. Molaroni holds a degree in Translation (Italian, French, English) from Geneva University, Switzerland.
She is married and has two children.
