New Permanent Representative of Zambia Presents Credentials
VIENNA, 17 March (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Zambia to the United Nations (Vienna), H. E. Mr. Darlington Mwape presented his credentials today to
Mr. Antonio Maria Costa, Director-General, United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV).
Mr. Mwape has served in many capacities in the course of his career, among them: Assistant Advocate, R.M.A. Chongwe & Company; Assistant Legal Counsel, Credit Africa Bank; Senior Advocate; Chilupe and Company; Partner, Lincoln Chambers; Legal Adviser to the President of Zambia; Member, Zambia Prerogative of Mercy Committee; Member, Zambia National Service Advisory Committee; Member, Petroleum Committee; Director, ESO Trucking (Z) Limited; Director, ILIFA Commodities Limited; and Director, Joda Marine Investments Limited.
Mr. Mwape holds a Bachelor degree in Law, a Council of Legal Education Certificate, and a Certificate of Admission to Practice as an Advocate.
Mr. Mwape is married.
