New Permanent Representative of New Zealand
Presents Credentials
VIENNA, 21 December (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of New Zealand, Philip Wallace Griffiths, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
Mr Griffiths has served in various capacities in the course of his career with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among them: Director of the Chief Executive's Office (2008-2010); Ambassador to Poland (also accredited to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) (2004-2008); Director of Disarmament Division (2003-2004); Director of Audit Review Division (2000-2003); Deputy Head of Mission, Tokyo (1995-2000); Deputy Director of Middle East and Africa Division (1993-1995); Deputy Director of Management Services Division (1990-1992); First Secretary, Vienna (1984-1990); Second Secretary, Tehran (1982-1984); Section Head Information Division (1980-1982), Second/Third Secretary, Bonn (1977-1980); Americas Division (1976-1977); Economic Division (1975-1976).
