New Permanent Representative of El Salvador Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 25 July (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of the Republic of El Salvador, Mario Antonio Rivera Mora, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) Yury Fedotov.
Mr. Rivera, a career diplomat, is also appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Austria as of March 2011. He has served in various capacities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among them: Deputy Permanent Representative of El Salvador to the United Nations in New York; Director of Multilateral Political organizations and forums; Director of Europe; Director of Oversea Affairs and Director of Affairs on Asia, Africa and Oceania. He was also Chief of Middle East Affairs and Member of Electoral Observation Mission of the Organization of American States.
Mr. Rivera holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of El Salvador. He is married with two children.
