New Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia
Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 5 June (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Salloum, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
Mr. Al-Salloum is Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Austria. During his career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which he joined in 1982, Mr. Al-Salloum has served in various capacities, among them:
Deputy Minister for Consular Affairs (2008); Assistant Deputy Minister for Consular Affairs (2004-08); Consul General of Saudi Arabia, Los Angeles (1996-2004); Embassy of Saudi Arabia to Italy (1995-96); Office of Minister of Foreign Affairs (1984-1995).
Mr. Al-Salloum holds a Master's Degree in Management and Leadership from the University of San Francisco. He is married and has three children.
