New Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar
Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 19 July (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Qatar, Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al-Maliki, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

During his career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs he has served in various duty stations, among them:

Embassy in Ankara (2009-2012); Embassy in Cairo (2003-08); Permanent Mission in Geneva (2000-03) and Administrative Researcher at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998-2000).

Prior to joining the Ministry Mr. Al-Maliki worked for Qatar Radio. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences from the University of Michigan.

He is married and has six children.
