New Permanent Representative of Guatemala
Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 03 August (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Guatemala, Antonio Roberto Castellanos Lopéz, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
During his career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which he joined in 1975, he has served in various capacities, among them:
Ambassador of Guatemala to Nicaragua; Consul General of Guatemala, San Francisco, United States; Ambassador of Guatemala to Chile; Ambassador of Guatemala to Belize; Ambassador of Guatemala to Japan; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ambassador of Guatemala to Israel; Minister Counsellor, Embassy of Guatemala to Canada; Director Consular Affairs; Counsellor, Embassy of Guatemala to Colombia; First Secretary and Consul, Embassy of Guatemala to Peru; Second Secretary, Second Secretary, Embassy of Guatemala to Brazil.
Mr. Castellanos Lopéz speaks English, Portuguese, Italian and French. He holds a degree in International Relations, Public Relations and Visual Arts.
