New Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom

VIENNA, 18 October (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom, Susan le Jeune d'Allegeershecque, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
Ms. le Jeune d'Allegeershecque currently serves as Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Austria and as Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Vienna.
Since Ms. le Jeune d'Allegeershecque joined the Diplomatic Service in 1985 she has served in various capacities, among them:
Director, Human Resources (2007-12); Consul General and Counsellor, Change Management, Embassy United States (2005-07); Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy Colombia (2002-05); Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy Venezuela (1999-2002); Head, Personnel Management Department (1995-99); Economic, Commercial and Press Officer, British High Commission, Singapore (1992-95); Baltic Desk Officer, Soviet Department (1990-92).
Ms. le Jeune d'Allegeershecque speaks English, French, Spanish and German.
She is married and has two children.
