New Permanent Representative of Brazil
Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 27 November (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Brazil, Evandro de Sampaio Didonet, presented his credentials today to the Deputy Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Mazlan Othman.
Mr. Didonet currently serves as Ambassador of Brazil to Austria and as Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna.
He has served in various capacities, among them:
Head, Department of International Negotiations, Ministry of External Relations (2007-12); Coordinator of the first India-Brazil-South Africa Forum in Brasilia (2006); Deputy Chief of Mission, Washington (2005-2007); Embassy in Washington (2003-2005); Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy in Ottawa (2001-2003); Assistant, Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary-General (Deputy Minister) for External Relations (1998-2001); Embassy in Rome (1995-98); Assistant, Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary-General for External Relations (1993-94); Latin American Integration Department, Ministry of External Relations (1992-93); Embassy in Bonn (1989-92); Embassy in Beijing (1987-89); Embassy in Vienna (1984-86); Eastern Europe Division, Ministry of External Relations (1980-84).
Mr. Didonet graduated from the Diplomatic Academy ("Instituto Rio Branco" - Ministry of External Relations) and holds a M.A. in Business Administration from Webster University, Saint Louis (Vienna Campus).
He is married and has one son.
