VIENNA, 10 December (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Israel, Zvi Heifetz, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
Mr. Heifetz is also serving as Ambassador to Austria.
During his career, Mr. Heifetz has served in various capacities, among them:
Strategic Consultant in Israel and Overseas (2008-2013); Director on the Board of the following public companies: Clal Industries Ltd., Hadera Paper Ltd., Beit Shemesh Engines Ltd. (2012); Executive Vice Chairman of Queenco Leisure International (2008); Ambassador to the United Kingdom (2004-2007); Executive Chairman of Hed Artzi Music Production (2001-2003); Executive Vice Chairman of Maariv Holdings(1999-2004); Board member of Matav (1997); and Partner in the law firm Osnat, Heifetz and Co. (1985-1999).
Mr. Heifetz holds a LL.B Law Degree from Tel Aviv University. He speaks Hebrew, Russian, English and German.
Mr. Heifetz is married and has seven children.
