A reception will be hosted by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine with the support of the Interim Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention.
The Convention was adopted on 22 May 2003 by Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine. The 10th Anniversary of the Carpathian Convention will be an opportunity to jointly celebrate the achievements and successes reached in the promotion of the sustainable development of the Carpathian Region, based on the appreciation of its natural and cultural assets and their preservation for the future generations.
Representatives of the past and current Presidencies, focal points from the Carpathian countries, Ambassadors of the Carpathian Convention countries in Vienna and UNEP Vienna ISCC's long-term partners, the contribution of all these has been fundamental in achieving all milestones in the development of the Carpathian Convention and its activities, are invited to join the celebration.
