VIENNA, 5 March (UN Information Service) - Journalists are invited to cover the High-Level Review of the Political Declaration and Plan of Action on the world drug problem in Vienna on 13-14 March.
The event, due to open at 9:30 on Thursday, 13 March, will bring together more than 1,500 people from Member States, parliaments, inter-governmental organizations, civil society, the private sector and the media. Journalists covering the High-Level Review will be able to attend the following:

Press arrangements for the High-Level Review
Journalists will also have the above press conference room (MOE Press Room) as a press working area for the duration of the High-Level Review and be able to make use of the press gallery in the M-Building. Member States will make transcriptions and statements available to journalists at their own discretion. A separate room for one-on-one interviews will also be available close to the press working area.
The Outcome Document will be made available to journalists and placed on the website dedicated to the High-Level Review: http://www.unodc.org/hlr/ where the event will be streamed live .
Journalists with no permanent press access card to the VIC should email press@unvienna.org for accreditation. Further information on the press conference and other media opportunities, information on the agenda, and details of the official website, will be provided to media closer to the date of the High-Level Review.
Journalists attending the High-Level Review are also invited to cover the 57th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, which runs from 17-21 March.
