New Permanent Representative of the Principality of Monaco presents credentials

VIENNA, 16 September (UN Information Service) - The Permanent Representative of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations (Vienna), Isabelle Berro-Amadei, presented her credentials today to the Deputy Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Dennis Thatchaichawalit.

During her career, Ms. Berro-Amadei has served in various capacities, among them:

President of Section I at the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg (2012-2015); Promoted to the First Grade of the judicial hierarchy, Monaco (2010); Judge at the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg (since 2006); Member of the Consultative Council of European Judges at the Council of Europe (2005-2006); Collaboration with the Centre of European Studies on Human Rights at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (2004-2005); First Judge at the Court of First Instance of Monaco (2000); Judge at the Court of First Instance of Monaco (1990); Legal assistant at the Directorate of Judicial Services in Monaco (1989).

Ms. Berro-Amadei holds a Master's degree in Private Law with honours from Nice University.

She speaks French, English, German and Italian.

Ms. Berro-Amadei is married and has one child.
