UNIDO to hold news conference on Monday

VIENNA, 27 November (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) - The sixteenth session of the UNIDO General Conference, taking place from 30 November to 4 December in the Vienna International Centre (VIC) in the Austrian capital, will focus on sustainable industrialization for shared prosperity as a means to implement the new United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A news conference featuring LI Yong, the Director General of UNIDO, and Joseph Stiglitz, Nobel Prize winner in economics,will start at 12:30, on Monday, 30 December, after the opening session of the General Conference.

Journalists are invited to cover all sessions and events at the General Conference, held in the Plenary Hall of the VIC (M building, first floor).
