VIENNA, 2 February (UN Information Service) - The Permanent Representative of Croatia to the United Nations (Vienna), Mrs. Dubravka Plejić Marković, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
During her career, Mrs. Plejić Marković has served in various capacities, among them:
Assistant Minister for Extra-European Affairs (2013-2016); Director for NATO and International Security (2012-2013); Head of Department for Analysis and Speech Writing (2010-2012); Department for International Security (2009-2010); Deputy Head of Mission to the OSCE, UN and International Organizations in Vienna (2005-2009); Head of NATO Department (2004-2005); Coordinator for the ICTY (1997-2000); Head of the UN Department (1996-1997).
Additionally she worked for the Mission of Croatia to the Council of Europe, Strasbourg (2000-2003), and the Office of the President of Croatia (1995-1996).
Mrs. Plejić Marković holds a law degree from the University of Zagreb.
Mrs. Plejić Marković speaks English, French and German.
Mrs. Plejić Marković is married and has two children.
