New Permanent Observer of the International Anti-Corruption Academy presents credentials

VIENNA, 18 October (UN Information Service) - The Permanent Observer of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) to the United Nations (Vienna), Mr. Martin Kreutner, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

Mr. Kreutner has been Dean of IACA and Executive Secretary of its Assembly of Parties since 2012. Prior to this, he served in various capacities, among them:

Executive Secretary of IACA's Provisional Assembly and its Provisional Commission (2011-2012), Chairman of the IACA International Transition Team (2010-2012); Special Adviser for anti-corruption affairs to the Austrian Minister of the Interior (2010-2011); elected Chairman of IACA's International Steering Committee (2008-2011); President of the European Anti-Corruption Network EPAC/EACN (2004-2012); Director of the Austrian Federal Bureau for Internal Affairs (2001-2010).

Mr. Kreutner holds a Master's degree in law from the University of Innsbruck, Austria and a Master's grade in Policing and Public Order Studies from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
