VIENNA, 2 May (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of New Zealand to the United Nations (Vienna), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Nicole Roberton, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
During her career Ms. Roberton has served in various capacities, among them:
Special Representative for United Nations Security Council Issues (Africa), Embassy, Addis Ababa (2015-2016); International Foreign Policy Consultant (2012-2014); Head of Political Section, Permanent Mission to the UN, New York (2002-2007); Second Secretary (Trade and Economic), Embassy, Moscow (1999-2002); Acting Deputy High Commissioner, High Commission, Apia, Samoa (1998); Pacific Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Wellington (1997).
Ms. Roberton is married and has two children.
