VIENNA, 30 May (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Bolivia to the United Nations (Vienna), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Víctor Veltzé Michel, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
During his career Mr. Veltzé Michel has served in various capacities, among them:
Adviser to the Permanent Mission of Bolivia (1996-1999); Executive at UNIDO in different positions (1969-1996); Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (1965-1969); Responsible for the work in the Honorary Consulate of Bolivia in Vienna and member of delegations of Bolivia to international conferences in Vienna (1961-1965).
Mr. Veltzé Michel holds a Masters in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Vienna.
He speaks Spanish, English and German.
Mr. Veltzé Michel is married and has three children.
