New Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago presents credentials

VIENNA, 31 May (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobagoto the United Nations (Vienna), Makeda Antoine-Cambridge, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Mr. Yury Fedotov.

During her career, Ms. Antoine-Cambridge has served in various capacities in the fields of international business, information and communication technology, and for non-governmental organizations.

Within international business, Ms. Antoine-Cambridge serves as Founder and Managing Director of Genesis International Limited, Trinidad and Tobago, (2013-present); Director of the Pan Africa & Caribbean Region, Infobip Gulf Limited, Dubai (2014-2016); Group Billing, Product and Senior Commercial Manager, Digicel Group Limited, Jamaica (2007-2012).

Within Information and Communication Technology, Ms. Antoine-Cambridge has served as Senior Manager of Commercial Operations, Telecommunications Services, Trinidad and Tobago (2016-2017); Carrier Billing Manager, Telecommunications Services, Trinidad and Tobago (2006-2007); Database Administrator, Institute of Marine Affairs, Trinidad and Tobago (2004-2006); Programmer/Analyst, Maritime Financial Group, Trinidad and Tobago (2002-2004); Website Content Editor, Caribbean Communications Network Limited, Trinidad and Tobago (2002-2004).

Within Non-Governmental Organizations, Ms. Antoine-Cambridge serves as a Founding President of OneTNT, Trinidad and Tobago (2015-present); Member of the Board at the Global Emerging Pathogens Treatment Consortium, South Africa (2014-present); Founding Chair of Genesis the Movement, Trinidad and Tobago (2013-present); Founding President of Heliconia Foundation for Young Professionals, Trinidad and Tobago (2013-2014); Outreach Coordinator for Jamaica's National Children Home, Jamaica (2008-2012); Youth Officer for the People's National Movement, Trinidad and Tobago (2012-2015); Education Officer of Quarry Village Community Council, Trinidad and Tobago (1999-2002).

Ms. Antoine-Cambridge graduated from the University of Bradford with a Master of Science (MSc) in Management Research (2015); from Andrews University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis on Strategic Management (2008), a Bachelor in Computer Information Systems (2002); and an Associate of Science degree in General Business (2002).
