VIENNA, 25 July (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations (Vienna), Mansoor Ahmad Khan, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
Mr. Khan is also serving as Ambassador to Austria and Slovakia.
During his career, Mr. Khan has served in various capacities, among them:
Head of the Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy in Afghanistan, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy in India; served at the Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva; served at the Embassy in Harare; and head of administrative, bilateral and multilateral assignments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He has a Master's Degree from the University of Westminster in London.
