VIENNA, 13 November (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Georgia to the United Nations (Vienna), David Dondua, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.
During his career, Mr. Dondua has served in various capacities, among them:
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; First Deputy State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration; Chief of Cabinet of the Chairman of Parliament of Georgia; Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy in the United States; and Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
David Dondua is also an Associated Professor of Tbilisi Open University and an Invited Professor at Tbilisi State University.
Before joining the Foreign Service, David Dondua served as Assistant Professor, Institute of Geography, Academy of Sciences of Georgia; and as Deputy Director of the Tbilisi #6 Gymnasium.
He speaks English and Russian.
