New Permanent Observer for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies presents credentials

VIENNA, 19 November (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Observer for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to the United Nations Office (Vienna), Gabriela Poller-Hartig, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

During her career, Ms. Poller-Hartig has served in various capacities, among them:

Head of International Relations, Austrian Red Cross (2017-present); Senior Publications Manager & Editor in Chief, Austrian Red Cross (2009-2017); Information Delegate, Austrian Red Cross (2003-2007); Journalist and Editor, Süddeutscher Verlag (2000-2002); Content Manager, Softunity AG (1999-2000); Content Manager, Spielraum GmbH (1997-1999); Editor for online publications, Hubert Burda Verlag (1996-1997); Freelance Journalist, Der Standard (1992-1995).

Ms. Poller-Hartig holds a Master in Theatre sciences and American history from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.

She speaks German, English and French.

Ms. Poller-Hartig is married and has two children.
