VIENNA, 30 January (UN Information Service) - There will a joint briefing on the current 'prevent and control' situation of the novel coronavirus by the Permanent Mission of China in Vienna and the United Nations Office at Vienna, the UN Information Service (Vienna) and the Vienna International Centre Medical Service at 11 a.m. on Friday 31 January. The briefing will take place in Boardroom D, C-building.
There will be an introduction by the Chinese Ambassador Wang Qun, on the situation and the control and preventive measures taken by the Chinese Government and the Director of the VIC Medical Service, Dr. Matthias Lademann, will talk about the actions taken by the Medical Service.
The briefing will be moderated by the Director of the UN Information Service (Vienna), Martin Nesirky.
