Message from the main Vienna-based United Nations organizations

VIENNA, 26 August (UN Information Service) - This is a message from the four main Vienna-based United Nations organizations (VBOs).

The Vienna International Centre (VIC) Medical Service reported today there is a new positive COVID-19 case at the VIC working at UNOV/UNODC. UNIDO also registered a positive case at a non-VIC headquarters field location. All close contact persons have been informed. This brings the total number of positive cases involving VBOs personnel to 22. 16 have already recovered.

The four main Vienna-based organizations are the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN Industrial Development Organization and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
