VIENNA, 1 December (UN Information Service) - This is a message from the four main organizations based at the Vienna International Centre (VBOs).
The Vienna International Centre (VIC) Medical Service reported that two people who work for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) tested positive for SARS CoV-2. There was no workplace exposure in either case.
The cumulative total number of people who have tested positive among personnel of the VIC-based organizations is 172, of whom 144 work at the VIC. Of the total of 172 personnel, 146 have recovered.
The four main VBOs are the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN Industrial Development Organization and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
