VIENNA, 7 December (UN Information Service) - This is a message from the four main organizations based at the Vienna International Centre (VBOs).
The Vienna International Centre (VIC) Medical Service reported that two people who work for the VIC-based organizations tested positive for SARS CoV-2. One person works for the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNOV/UNODC) and the other for Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). There was no workplace exposure in either case.
The cumulative total number of people who have tested positive among personnel of the VIC-based organizations is 175, of whom 147 work at the VIC. Of the total of 175 personnel, 157 have recovered.
The four main VBOs are the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN Industrial Development Organization and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
