VIENNA, 19 January (UN Information Service) – This is a message from the four main organizations based at the Vienna International Centre (VBOs).
The Vienna International Centre (VIC) Medical Service reported today that one person who works for the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) outside Austria tested positive for SARS CoV-2. There was no workplace exposure.
The cumulative total number of people who have tested positive among personnel of the VIC-based organizations is 207, of whom 171 work at the VIC. Of the total of 207 personnel, 188 have recovered.
The four main VBOs are the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN Industrial Development Organization and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
