VIENNA, 9 February (UN Information Service) – This is a message from the four main organizations based at the Vienna International Centre (VBOs).
The Vienna International Centre (VIC) Medical Service reported today that one person who works for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) at the VIC tested positive for SARS CoV-2. There was no workplace exposure.
The cumulative total number of people who have tested positive among personnel of the VIC-based organizations is 229, of whom 191 work at the VIC. Of the total of 229 personnel, 220 have recovered.
The four main VBOs are the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN Industrial Development Organization and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
