VIENNA, 25 January (UN Information Service) – The Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations (Vienna), Tsengeg Mijiddorj, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.
During his career, Mr. Mijiddorj has served in various capacities, among them:
Director, Department of Europe, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2016 to present); Deputy Director, then Director, Department of Europe and Americas, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2015-2016); Deputy Director, Department of Americas and Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2013-2014); Third and Second Secretary, Embassy/Permanent Mission in Vienna (2010-2013); Third Secretary, Department of Europe, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2009-2010); Third Secretary, Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2008-2009); Attaché, Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2005-2006); Attaché, Department of Americas, Middle East and Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia (2004-2005); and Attaché, Department of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003-2004).
Mr. Mijiddorj holds a Bachelor's Degree from the National University of Mongolia.
He speaks English and Russian.
Mr. Mijiddorj is married and has two daughters.
