VIENNA, 10 March (UN Information Service) – The Permanent Representative of Barbados to the United Nations (Vienna), Chad Blackman, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.
During his career, Mr. Blackman, who is also Ambassador to Austria and Serbia and Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other International Organizations at Geneva, has served in various capacities, among them:
Senior Partner and International Trade Advisor, GPI Partners International Law Firm, St. Lucia (2016-2018); Consulting Legal Advisor, Fran Hendy Attorneys (2016-2018); Development Consultant, Commonwealth Secretariat (2010-2011); CARICOM Single Market & Economy (CSME) Survey Youth Coordinator, CARICOM Secretariat (2008-2009).
Mr. Blackman holds a Master of Law and Bachelor of Law from the University of Essex.
Mr. Blackman speaks English, French and Spanish.
