VIENNA, 2 December (UN Information Service) – The new Permanent Representative of Honduras to the United Nations (Vienna), Elena María Freije Murillo, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.
During her career, Ms. Freije Murillo has served in various positions, among them:
Executive Director, Honduran Association of Distributors of Motor Vehicles and Related (2011–2022); Technical Director, Honduran Council of Science and Technology (2006–2010); General Manager, Channel 8, Tegucigalpa, Honduras (March–June 2009); and Marketing and Sales Manager of VICA TV, Tegucigalpa, Honduras (1998 – 2005).
Ms. Freije Murillo holds a Master of Business Administration from Francisco de Vitoria University, Spain and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University del Valle de Mexico.
She speaks English and Spanish.
