VIENNA, 19 December (UN Information Service) – The new Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations Office at Vienna, Jassim Yaaqob Y. A. Al-Hamadi, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.
During his career, Mr. Al-Hamadi, has served in various positions, among them:
Ambassador and Minister Plenipotentiary, Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2016-2023); Political expert, Office of the Assistant of the Minister for International Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2015-2016); First Secretary and Consul, Embassy in Sarajevo (2010-2015); and Legal researcher, Legal Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2005-2010).
Mr. Al-Hamadi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Yarmouk University.
Mr. Al-Hamadi speaks Arabic and English.
