United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to Visit Hungary

Media invited to press conference and public address

VIENNA, 13 April (UN Information Service) - The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will visit Hungary from 17-19 April 2011 at the invitation of the Government of Hungary.

The Secretary-General will meet with the President of Hungary, Pál Schmitt, the Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the Minister for Foreign Affairs János Martonyi. While in Budapest the Secretary-General will also give an address on the Challenges ahead for the United Nations at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences organized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Association of Hungary.

Media are invited to attend the following events:
