New Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic
Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 8 October (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic, Oľga Algayerová presented her credentials today to the Deputy Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Mazlan Othman.

During her career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the private sector she has served in various capacities, among them:

Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister's Office (2012); President of the Slovak Millennium Development Goals Initiative (2010-12); State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2006-10); Corporate Manager, Zentiva International (2004-06); Head of Export Department, Slovakofarma (1995-2003); Deputy Head of Department, Foreign Trade Company Drevounia Bratislava (1982-1991).

Ms. Algayerová holds Master's Degrees in Contemporary Diplomacy and Business Administration and is an Engineer of Economy. She speaks English, German, Russian and Spanish. She is married and has two children.
