This year, the Report sheds light on a balanced approach to the world drug problem, ensuring availability of controlled substances for medical use to everyone, including in emergency and conflict situations, while reducing illicit use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
It also deals with cannabis legalization and describes international and regional trends in new psychoactive substances, drug abuse and drug-related crimes.
